Trap Box in Memoriam (追憶のトラップ Tsuioku no torappu) is a monster in the Dragon Quest series that was introduced in the Nintendo 3DS version of Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King.

It is a more powerful variant of the Trap box that appears as the third boss in Memories Lane.

Characteristics

Though it no longer guards the Venus' Tear, the Trap Box in Memoriam has found a new calling as one of the opponents of Memories Lane. This ghoulish mimic is nothing to scoff at when the deadly Kathwack forms part of its arsenal of spells, making Holy talismans a Goddess-send.
