The Cutpurse's tights are legwear in the series.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
A simple pair of black leggings worn with a leather belt around the waist and a dagger strapped to a holster on the right side. Despite their name, they can be worn by a wide range of vocations. In X Offline and Smash/Grow, they are worn with the cutpurse's shoes. The design of the cutpurse's tights is used for the leather cape bottom in Dragon Quest of the Stars.

Dragon Quest X [edit | edit source]
The Cutpurse's tights have a Defence bonus of +3, a Style bonus of +2, and a Weight bonus of +1. They have an equipment level of 7 and can be equipped by a Martial Artist, Thief, Minstrel, Gladiator, Ranger, Luminary, Monster Wrangler, Dancer, Gadabout, or Pirate. The tights can be crafted with sewing and the entire set consists of the clobber, tights, hood, bracers, and shoes. If all five pieces are equipped, the wearer gains a Deftness bonus of +2 and an extra +5 bonus to Style.

Dragon Quest X Offline[edit | edit source]
The Cutpurse's tights have a Defence bonus of +4, an Agility bonus of +6, a Deftness bonus of +1, and a Charm bonus of +4. They can be equipped by the Hero as a Martial Artist, Thief, Minstrel, Gladiator, Ranger, Luminary, Dancer, or Gadabout, and Mjoll, Hussar, Raguas, Duston, and Anlucia. The tights can be purchased for 150 gold from various armour shops or crafted with the Fun-Size Forge.

Dragon Quest Smash/Grow[edit | edit source]
The Cutpurse's Tights are 2★ lower body armour with a Defence bonus of +11 and a Magical Defence bonus of +9 at level 1. Their starting Boons are Bug Defier +5% and Physical Damage +5%. The tights can be acquired randomly from any transmuter.
