The forging manual for the flametang is the Sizzling Styles book, which is found in the whale weigh station north of the Hotto Steppe.
Etymology edit
- A salamander is fiery creature of European myth said to resemble small lizards that are born from flames. They are named after the real-life salamander amphibian that would brumate in logs during Winter and quickly crawl out of hearths when the logs were used to light fires, thus appearing to be "born" from the embers.
