Characteristics edit

The leggings are loose trousers made of a dark cloth with a purple sash wrapped around the waist and are essentially the same as the Wizard's trousers from Dragon Quest IX. In Dragon Quest X Offline and various mobile games, they are worn with boots.

Dragon Quest X edit

The Mage's trousers have a Defence bonus of +12, a Style bonus of +4, increase the wearer's Weight by 1, and have an equipment level of 30. They can only be equipped by Mages. The entire set consists of the mage's attire, the mage's hat, and mage's boots. If all four pieces are equipped, the wearer gains a +15 bonus to Magical Might and a +25 bonus to Style.

Dragon Quest X Offline edit

The Mage's trousers have a Defence bonus of +16, an Agility bonus of +21, a Magical Might bonus of +5, and a Charm bonus of +15. They can only be equipped by the Hero as a Mage.

Dragon Quest Walk edit

The Mage's trousers are 3★ legwear with a Defence bonus of +7, a Magical Might bonus of +4, and increase the wearer's sleep resistance by 5%. They can be acquired randomly by pulling from any equipment banner.

Dragon Quest Smash/Grow edit

The Mage's Trousers are 1★ lower body armour with a Defence bonus of +6 and a Magical Defence bonus of +8 at level 1. Their starting Boon is Freeze Resistance +5%. They can be acquired randomly from any transmuter.

Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai: A Hero's Bonds edit

Known as the Magic Britches in this game, they are a 3★ leg outfit that can be equipped by Mages, Priests, and Sages. At level 35, they have a Physical Defence bonus of +39 and a Magical Defence bonus of +40. They could occasionally be received from treasure hunts, as well as completing Chapter 1: Episode 16 - Dai Needs Us, Now! (Beginner).
