The Scale armour top is armour in the series.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
Scale armour made to protect the upper body, with a breastplate and pauldrons made from numerous green scales. In some games, it is worn with a pair of gloves with scales, as well.

Dragon Quest X [edit | edit source]
The Scale armour top has a Defence bonus of +7, a Style bonus of +2, and increases the wearer's Weight by 9. It has an equipment level of 7 and can be equipped by Warriors, Priests, Thieves, Minstrels, Paladins, Armamentalists, Rangers, Item Masters, Dancers, Demon Swordsmen, Pirates, Guardians, and Hermits.
The entire set consists of the top and bottom, scale helm, scale gauntlets, and scale boots, and can be made by an armour blacksmith. If all five pieces are equipped, the wearer gains a +5 bonus to Style.

The Scale armour top has a Defence bonus of +8, as well as an Deftness and Charm bonus of +4. It can be equipped by the Hero as a Warrior, Priest, Thief, Minstrel, Paladin, Armamentalist, Ranger, or Dancer, as well as Hussar, Mjoll, Raguas, Duston, and Anlucia. It can be purchased from various armour shops for 165 gold or made with the Fun-Size Forge.
