The Tigercub is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series. It is a pink and red-furred version of the Great sabrecub, introduced in Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3 as the infant form of the Striking sabrecat.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
Much like their gold and orange-furred cousins, the tigercub has a red mane running down from their head to their back. They have red eyes, spotted fur, and their claws and fangs have not developed yet.
Appearances[edit | edit source]
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3[edit | edit source]
The tigercub makes its debut as a rank F monster of the Beast family. They do not appear in the wild, but foreign masters may have them on their team. It is possible to synthesize a Striking sabrecat by combining four Tigercubs.
Dragon Quest Tact[edit | edit source]
Tigercub appears as a C-rank monster of the Beast family. It can be recruited in Chapter 7, Episode 5 or Chapter 13, Episode 8, as well as Troll Super Training quests at intermediate and advanced difficulties. The tigercub can participate in Power Workout: Troll and the Dark sabrecub's Battle Road as a party member.
