West Trodain Church[1] is a building and rest stop in Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King.
As the name states, it is to the west of Trodain castle, as well as containing an inn and item shop.
Story[edit | edit source]
The Hero and party arrive to the church on their way to investigate Trodain for how to make use of the ship.
The nun greeting guests laments how the area use to be lively until misfortune fell upon Trodain castle, while a merchant selling his wares encourages people to stay away from the castle.
