Belial is a boss from Dragon Quest II and recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series.
He is a more powerful version of the archdemon and the last in a trio of bosses the Luminaries must face as they climb Hargon's tower. Later games would use the monster as a species instead of a specific individual, similar to his fellow cultist Pazuzu.
