Accelerate is learned by Thieves at level 16 and costs 2 MP to cast. It increases Agility by 50%, can be cast twice for a 100% boost, and lasts for 7~10 turns.

Dragon Quest X [edit | edit source]

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age[edit | edit source]

Serena learns accelerate at level 13 and Sylvando joins the party at level 15 already knowing this spell. It increases Agility by 40% for 4~6 turns, and costs 2 MP. +40% is the cap for Agility buffs in the game, and cannot be raised further.

Dragon Quest Monsters[edit | edit source]

Called Speed in this game, it requires the monster to reach level 2 with 10 MP and 8 Intelligence. It grows into SpeedUp when the monster reaches level 5 with 24 MP and 20 Intelligence. It is naturally learned by the curselamp, florajay and pixy.

Dragon Quest Monsters 2[edit | edit source]

Speed now requires 15 Intelligence to learn and 36 to upgrade. It is naturally learned by the petiteel and pyuro, among others. It is no longer naturally learned by the pixy.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker[edit | edit source]

Accelerate can be learned from:

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2[edit | edit source]
