Nova is first introduced as an over-confident and arrogant boy, who thinks he can take care of the Royal Guard without the help of the [[Disciples of Avan]]. Nova manages to slash Pawn [[Hym]]'s chest and hit him directly with his Northen Grand Blade skill, but Hym's resilience shocks him.

After the shock of Hym's ~~strenght~~, Dai and Popp try to convince Nova to cooperate with them, but he refuses and prepares to strike Hym again, however Queen [[Albinass]] interrupts the combat by attacking Nova with Needle Thousand, making him unable to fight for a while. He later tries to temporarily freeze the Royal Guard with [[Kacrackle]], but Sigma's Mirror of Shahal returns the spell to the heroes and freezes them instead.
