Characteristics[edit | edit source]
The bag o' laughs is blue burlap bag with a cartoonish face that consists of two eyes, rosy cheeks, and a fanged mouth with tongue lolling out. Bag o' laughs are known for casting debilitating magic instead of directly attacking and thus are most dangerous when encountered along with more ferocious monsters that take advantage of their enfeebling abilities.

Bags o' laughs appeared from the beginning of the game. They have a variety of debilitating spells at their disposal, including Deceleratle, Dazzle, and Fizzle, but can also waste their turn in battle by smirking. Starting with Version 1.2 of the game, they gained a rarefied version in the form of the Bag o' sweets.
