The technicolor dollop makes its first appearance outside of the original trilogy in the [[Nintendo 3DS]] remake of the seventh game. It is a reward for defeating a [[Traveller's Tablet]] boss and will replicate the effect of the [[Lifeboat]] skill when used in battle. The Rainbow Drop can be used inexhaustibly and effectively frees the skill from being tied to the [[Pirate]] vocation.

It also boosts magical might by +16, magical mending by +17, and charm by +29, which can also be boosted with the forge, allowing for maximum boosts of +22, +23, and +35 respectively. It can be equipped by all party members.
