Zin is a revival spell that attempts to bring an ally back with a single HP. It is the weakest of the three resurrection spells, behind Zing and Kazing.

Appearances

Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake

Zin is learned by Priests and Sages at level 10 and by the Hero at level 14. These levels are fixed, with no learning rate influence from the wisdom stat unlike other spells. Zin costs 5 MP and has a 50% chance to revive an ally at 1 HP, with the success rate growing along with the conjurer's luck for a 75% chance at 999.

Dragon Quest X

Making its debut, Zin is learned by Priests at level 10, Minstrels at level 13, Rangers at level 15, Sages at level 12, and Death Masters at level 53, as well as 12 skill points invested into the Slime's Slimer skill tree, 3 skill points for the Hat hamwitch's Buhib Heal skill tree and 25 skill points for the Chiryo skill tree after a recruited monster's 4th reincarnation. It costs 5 MP and has a fixed 50% chance to revive one ally with a single HP. In the Offline remake, it is learned by the Hero at level 4 and in the same vocations, Fuura at level 24, and already learned by Raguas when he is recruited.

Dragon Quest of the Stars

Acting the same as in X, it is the main spell of the Rune staff, and can also be equipped to other weapons.

Dragon Quest Walk

Acting the same as in its last 2 appearances, it is already learned when wielding the Twilight broom and when the player is in the Paladin vocation. It costs 15 MP to cast.

Dragon Quest Champions

Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is learned at level 10 when wielding the Glow stick and costs 25 MP to cast.
