Belial is a boss from Dragon Quest II and recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series.
He is a more powerful version of the archdemon and the last in a trio of bosses the Luminaries must face as they climb Hargon's tower. Later games would use the monster as a species instead of a specific individual, similar to his fellow cultist Pazuzu.

He can be faced in Chapter 4, Episode 4 of the event quests entitled The Dark Pantheon: Belial, as well as the Hall of Hargon, aided by a group of Madusas. He must be defeated before facing both Hargon and Malroth. Some of Belial's abilities include Bang and Zam-type spells, as well as healing spells.
