Tox is a spell that attempts to poison the target.

Dragon Quest X [edit | edit source]
Tox can be learned when a Mage invests 3 points into the knives skilltree. It costs 3 MP, has a casting time of just two seconds, and will infect one enemy with a poison that deals 10 damage every 5 seconds.
Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince[edit | edit source]
Tox costs 3 MP and has a base accuracy of 60%, rising to 80% at 3,999 wisdom. The spell attempts to poison one monster, dealing 1/16th of it's max HP as damage and can be cast twice to deal 1/8th damage.
It is learned through the following talents:
- Charmer (3 points)
- Irritant (20 points)
- Stinker (3 points)
- Toxicologist (3 points)
- Vexologist (3 points)
