Flare is a spell that appears in the Final Fantasy series as well as in Dragon Quest Tact. In Tact, it is one of the Phoenix's signature spells, nuking the target with scorching yet non-elemental magic.
Details
Flare can be learned by Phoenix at level 31 and costs 96 MP to use. It has a range of up to three squares away from it in any direction and inflicts major spell damage to a single enemy. Upgrading the spell increases its damage and reduces the amount of MP it costs to cast.
