Characteristics
Goresby-Purrvis was originally a human swordsman who served King Godwyn of the Gittish Empire. When he was brought back to life, his new form is that of an anthropomorphic leopard samurai. On his left ear, he wears a single gold hoop earring. He wears a dark magenta and navy blue-colored haori coat with billowing sleeves and gold lining and a white fur collar and cravat, black hakama pants with gold lining, and brown sandals. He also wears a metal breastplate held with a leather belt and metal shoulderpads on his coat. Goresby-Purrvis's weapon of choice is a long katana with a black guard and a dark red grip.

Dragon Quest X
Goresby-Purrvis, along with the rest of the Triumgorate, appear as bosses starting in Version 4.0.
Dragon Quest Tact
Lt Goresby-Purrvis appears as a S-rank monster of the Beast family as part of the limited "Spring Training! Train with Lt Goresby-Purrvis!" event alongside Cherreevil Blossom.
In Tact, he is the adoptive father and tutor of Purrcival, a young tigercub who aims to be a samurai. Purrvis does not like being called "father" in public, but he does love the fact that Purrcival sees him as a paternal figure. He originally wanted to return Purrcival to his true parents, but unable to find them he ended up taking care of the cub, and teaching him the way of the sword.
