The Jargon is a yellow, obese humanoid dragon with an immense appetite for alcohol. First appearing in Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King, it has gone on to appear as a mid-ranking member of the dragon family in the Monsters series.

Dragon Quest Tact

Jargon appears as a C-rank monster of the Dragon family. It can learn Shove and Searing Breath naturally and can participate in the Green dragon's Battle Road as a party member. Jargon also appears as the story boss of Chapter 7, Episode 9: The Jarring Jargon.
