The stone golem (originally Stoneman, RockGolem / Rock Golem later on) is a recurring enemy in the Dragon Quest series. Introduced in the original Dragon Quest alongside the golem, it is a stony gray variant of that monster.
Characteristics
A stone golem's name sums up its appearance: it is a golem with a stone-gray body.
While some appearances have had stone golems as being superior to their normal brethren, other titles have shown the stone golem as being weaker, though they still boast the strength and stamina of their relatives. They are especially prone to charging up power for increased strength to their already crushing blows.
Appearances
Due to text restrictions in the Gameboy Color remake of Dragon Quest, stone golem was renamed RockGolem.
The RockGolem can be found in the Avon Tunnel and the Mountain Tower before and during the flood and in the present.
