Twisted talons are used as a material for crafting weapons and armour or in Alchemy to increase resistance against becoming tied up. It can be purchased from a material shop for 110 gold or dropped by various monsters, including Candy cats, Beakons, Dancing devils, Tap devils, Apeckalypses, Frolickers, Weaken beakons, Claw breakers, Bilebonnets, Snotbonces, and Moosifers.

Twisted talons can be dropped by Grim gryphons, Pteranodons, War gryphons, Silver sabrecubs, Hyperpyrexions, Terrornodons, Snotbonces, and Bilebonnets, or purchased from the roving emporium in the Champs Sauvage for 950 gold. They can be sold for 237 gold. Twisted talons are used in the following recipes for the Fun-Size Forge:

Dragon Quest Heroes II edit

Twisted talons are used as a material for improving various accessories or sold for 32 gold. They can be dropped by Crack-billed platypunks, Gryphons, Jailcats, Splatypunks, and Walking corpses.

Dragon Quest Treasures edit

Twisted talons can be purchased from shops or collected from bone piles on the Cinderback Ridge as well as occasionally being received as a reward for sending a dispatch team to the Redscale Rise area of Cinderback Ridge. It is mainly used for crafting pellets at the Werks or for scouting monsters.
