The Beast bone is a crafting ingredient that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest XI.

The beast bone can be purchased from the southern roving emporium in the Gallopolis Region for 100 gold or received from sparkly spots in the Heliodorian Foothills, the Hotto Steppe, and the Gallopolis Region. It has a ¹⁄₁₆ chance of being dropped by Demonriders, Raven lunatics, and Skullriders, or a ¹⁄₆₄ chance of being dropped by Stark ravens. The beast bone is used in the following recipes for the Fun-Size Forge:

• Recipe: Iron armour = Iron ore x3 + Glass frit x2 + Beast bone
• Recipe: Lamp post = Beast bone + Lamplight
• Recipe: Battle fork = Beast bone x2 + Witherwood + Yellow eye
• Recipe: Silver rapier = Silver ore x2 + Beast bone + Glass frit
• Recipe: King axe = Gold ore x3 + Enchanted stone x3 + Beast bone x2
