Blunt is a spell in the Dragon Quest Series. It decreases an enemy's attack by up to two levels, both incantations lowering the target's power by 25%

Blunt is learned only by mages at level 42. It costs 8 MP to cast, and has a base accuracy of 75% if the caster's magical might is lower or equal to 50. Once the stat increases to 51, the spell will slowly rise in accuracy to a cap of 100% at 799 magical might.
