The Sabrecat is a monster that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest II.

Characteristics

The ancestors of the Great sabrecats both figuratively and literally, Sabrecats resemble the smilodons of the real world Plestiocene era and the mane-less Tsavo lions. They have sleek brown fur, solid yellow eyes, and a huge pair of upper canine teeth from their maws. They are dangerous foes in battle since they have a higher chance than normal to evade attacks, can attack twice in a single turn, and are capable of landing Desperate attacks.
