Large scale is used as a material for crafting armour and furniture or in Alchemy to increase max HP on pieces of headwear. It can be dropped by various monsters, including Mandrake mercenaries, Small fries, Dragstars, Mandrake marshals, Grrrgoyles, Aggrosculptures, Dragsters, Sintaurs, Drakulards, Bilhaws, Tormentaurs, Liege lizards, Night clubbers, Gnuriels, Pruslases, Black dragons, and Great dragons.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age

Large scale can be purchased for 380 gold each from the item shop in Nautica from the second act onward or dropped by Mermaniacs and their malicious counterparts, as well as Night clubbers. It can be sold for 95 gold.

Large scale is only used in two recipes for the Fun-Size Forge:

• Recipe: Metal slime armour = Molten globules + Slimedrop + Densinium x2 + Large scale x2
• Recipe: Ruby of protection = Artful amethyst x2 + Serpent skin + Large scale x2 + Pale pearl

Dragon Quest Heroes II

Large scale is used as a material for improving various accessories or sold for 64 gold. It can be dropped by Mandrake marshals, Night clubbers, and Pruslases.
