Ghosts simply put, are orange-coloured ghosts. These mischievous undead shades from beyond have a stereotypical appearance that wouldn't be out of place on a Halloween decoration. They float about in midair, have a pointed purple and red witch's hat, arms, and a taunting face, always with its tongue hanging out. Although they have made limited appearances in the main series of games, ghosts appear regularly in spinoff games.
A stronger, giant sized boss version of the Ghost is found at the end of the downloadable Ghost BustingDLC Tablet. Although it possess no new skills or spells, it hits hard enough to knock most unseasoned adventurers out of action in a single spooky swipe.
Ghost (ゴースト, Gōsuto ) Big Book of Beasts No.: DLC #114 (3DS remake exclusive)
Ghost appeared from the beginning of the game. They possess no special abilities or spells, having a tendency to flee in the middle of battle. Starting with Version 5.0, vicious ghosts can be encountered in the Netherworld. These ghosts are now able to cast Kafrizz on opponents, but will still flee when threatened.
Unfinished business in their previous lives prevents these poltergeists from ever being at peace. They're always trying to inflict fright one way or another, just for the attention
These fun-loving phantoms like nothing more than flying into adventurers' faces and shouting 'boo!' Bags o' Laughs often ask them to come up with jokes for their comedy routines—they're the original ghost writers!
Ghost appears as an F-rank monster of the Undead family. It will join the player in Chapter 5, Episode 5: A merry chase of the main storyline and it can also be recruited from Chapters 9-2, 9-6, and 14-1. It stars in its own Battle Road and it can also participate in Majellan and the Halloween king's Battle Roads, as well as the Dragon Quest I event Battle Road.
