A red and gold studded ring featuring a design of an open eye, it is designed to help prevent the wearer from falling asleep. It also provides a small boost to either the wearer's Defence or Luck.

The Ring of awakening has a Defence bonus of +10, makes the wearer completely immune to sleep, and can be equipped by all characters. It can only be made in the Alchemy Pot and can be sold for 550 gold. The ring can also be used to create a pair of Scholar's specs.

The Rousing ring has a Defence bonus of +2, a Style bonus of +3, and increases resistance against sleep by 50%. With accessory synthesis, the Defence and sleep resistance (up to a total of 80%) can be increased further.

The recipe book Little Lifesavers contains the recipe for the rousing ring. It can be found in a treasure chest in Heliodor Castle in the Queen's Bedchamber starting from act two. If two rousing rings +3 are equipped at once, it is possible to become completely resistant to being put to sleep.

The Rousing ring has a Defence bonus of +40 and grants the Insomniac trait to the wearer, increasing resistance to sleep by 10%. It can be dropped rarely by a Sculptrice.

The quick recipe for the rousing ring can be received from King Flaminio in exchange for 2 Mini medals onboard the Stonecloud, while the classic and luxury recipes can be dropped rarely by Drackmages and Drackymas.
Dragon Quest Heroes II edit
The Rousing ring reduces the duration of sleep by 40%. Once it has been fully upgraded, the sleep duration will be reduced by 80% and it will gain a +10 bonus to Defence. The ring can be received from Maxi Malone in Accordia in exchange for 6 Mini medals or dropped by Man o' wars.

The Ring of awakening nullifies the effects of Snooze when equipped. It can be found in a treasure chest during Chapter 3 after defeating the first Mimic.
Dragon Quest of the Stars edit
The Rousing ring is a 2★ accessory with a Defence bonus of +2 that comes equipped with the Sleep Guard skill, which increases resistance against sleep by 50%. At max level, the resistance can be boosted to a total of 60%. The ring can be created at the equipment workshop.
Dragon Quest Walk edit
The Rousing ring is a 3★ accessory with a max HP bonus of +10 that increases the wearer's sleep resistance by 3%.
