Appearances edit
Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake edit
Hawkeye Claw deals the same amount of damage as a normal attack as physical-type damage, never misses, and costs 4 MP to use. Like in III HD-2D Remake, it can be performed with any weapon equipped. It can be learned by the Prince of Midenhall at level 13 and by the Princess of Cannock by using a Hawkeye Claw Scroll, which is found in a treasure chest at Midenhall Castle requiring the Magic key to open.
- When the Princess of Cannock's HP is below 50% or she is under the effects of Dodgy Dance, the Souped-Up Skill Blind Rage becomes available to use by holding down a button, depending on which version of the game is being played. The player must have the Soul Sigil in their possession to use it.
Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake edit
Hawkeye Claw deals the same amount of damage as a normal attack as physical-type damage, never misses, and costs 4 MP to use. It can be learned by a Martial Artist starting at level 13 if their Wisdom exceeds 26. It can be performed with any weapon equipped.
Dragon Quest X edit
Hawkeye Claw deals between 180~220% of the amount of damage as a normal attack, plus an additional point of damage, to a single enemy for 2 MP. It cannot be dodged or blocked and will always land, even if the user is bedazzled. The skill can be learned a Martial Artist, Thief, Ranger, or Monster Wrangler by investing 35 skill points into their Claw skill.
Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age edit
Hawkeye Claw deals between 180~220% of the amount of damage as a normal attack plus an additional point of damage to a single enemy, costing 5 MP to use. It cannot be dodged or blocked and always lands on its target, even if the user is bedazzled. It can be learned by Jade and Rab through the Claws panel in their Character Builders for 13 and 12 skill points respectively. Hawkeye Claw is a hidden skill for Rab, requiring at least of the surrounding panels to be unlocked first.
Dragon Quest Rivals edit
Hawkeye Claw appeared as a super rare card exclusive for Martial Artist leaders in the 4th card pack, "Tales of Powerful Monsters".
