The Short bow has an Attack bonus of +23 and can only be equipped by Angelo. It can be purchased in Ascantha for 750 gold and sold for 375 gold. It can also be dropped rarely by Bodkin bowyers. The short bow can be upgraded into a Hunter's bow in the Alchemy Pot.

The Short bow has an Attack bonus of +20 and can only be equipped by Bianca. It can be purchased for 970 gold on the Stonecloud after the events at Grannet and sold for 480 gold.
Dragon Quest Heroes II edit
The Short bow has an Attack bonus of +18 and can be equipped by Teresa and Lazarel as a Thief or Sage, as well as Angelo and Bianca. It can be purchased for 480 gold from the weapon merchant in Accordia after unlocking the ability to change vocations.
Dragon Quest Rivals edit
The Short bow appeared as a basic weapon card exclusive for Priest leaders.
