The Handsome crab is a monster in the series.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
Handsome crabs are monstrous crustaceans with a bright blue exoskeleton, bulging eyes, and cyan or grey-coloured undersides. They are constantly drooling from their maws, which are lined with razor-sharp fangs. They are capable of landing desperate attacks with their claws and their shells offer them excellent protection against the weapons of adventurers, but they are still vulnerable to offensive magic. The crabs are known as the blue devils of the sea, having sunk many fishing ships from underneath the water's surface and are the bane of many a fishing village. The handsome crab's name is a play on handsom cab, a two-wheeled horse-drawn carriage.
