Magic water is a healing item in the series. It restores a small amount of MP to a single party member and is consumed upon use, with the amount varying between games. In earlier games, vials of magic water were more difficult to obtain, typically being found in treasure chests, dropped by monsters, or redeemed at casinos in exchange for tokens. In more modern games, as the methods for restoring MP increased, magic water could even be purchased from item shops later in the game, as well as created with the help of Alchemy.
