Orcs are boarish beastmen, rather than green-skinned humanoids commonly seen in fantasy literature, movies, and video games that originated from J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings series of books. The common folk of the orcish tribe, they have pelts of thick brown fur, dress in simple green clothing, and carry crude spears as weapons; in their original appearances the orcs actually lacked their signature spears, choosing to fight barehanded, but eventually gained them in remake versions of II.
Orc appeared from the beginning of the game, maintaining their ability to perform a Multithrust with their spears from VIII. Starting with Version 5.0, Vicious orcs can be encountered in the Netherworld, as well.
These hulking hogs take their training seriously, and practise Multithrust about a million times a day. But despite this diligence, the wild boar blood in their veins means they're far from mild-mannered.
These boar-like brutes are far from boorish - though most make careers out of combat, many tire of battle and bloodshed and dream of laying down their spears in favour of pen or brush, becoming poets and artists instead.
Orc is a D-rank monster of the Beast family. It can be recruited from Chapters 3-3, 4-3, 7-2, 9-3, 9-7, 11-2, 12-1, and 12-6, as well as the Orc King Fortuneteller stage from The Beastliest Beast of Bravas Qualifiers during the Beast Fest event at any difficulty. The orc can participate in the Battle Roads of the Brownie, Kon the Knight, Dark sabrecub, Jade, Gold lion, and Pankraz Gotha as a party member.
