The Full plate armour bottom is legwear in the series.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
Full plate armour made to protect the lower body, worn over a pair of mail leggings, replacing the Steel kneecaps. It consists of tassets made of steel plates attached to a leather belt worn around the waist. In some games, it is worn with a pair of armoured boots.

Dragon Quest X [edit | edit source]
The Full plate armour bottom has a Defence bonus of +10, a Style bonus of +5, and increases the wearer's Weight by 13. It has an equipment level of 28 and can be equipped by a Warrior, Thief, Paladin, Demon Swordsman, Pirate, or Guardian.
The entire set consists of the top and bottom, the steel helmet, steel gauntlets, and steel sabatons. It can be crafted by an armour blacksmith. If all five pieces are equipped, the wearer gains a +20 bonus to Style and a +5 bonus to Weight.

Dragon Quest X Offline[edit | edit source]
The Full plate armour bottom has a Defence bonus of +14, a Deftness bonus of +5, and a Charm bonus of +15. It can be equipped by the Hero as a Warrior, Thief, or Paladin, Hussar, Raguas, Duston, and Anlucia. It can be purchased for 1,750 gold from various armour shops or crafted with the Fun-Size Forge.

The Full plate armour bottom is 3★ legwear with a Defence bonus of +9 that increases resistance against paralysis by 5%.
Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai: A Hero's Bonds[edit | edit source]
The Full Plate Armour (Legs) is 2★ leg armour that can be equipped by the Luminary Leader as a Hero, Warrior, or Martial Artist, all versions of Dai, Avan, Hyunckel, Crocodine, Baran, Larhart, and Nova. At level 35, it has a Physical Defence bonus of +45 and a Magical Defence bonus of +43. It could occasionally be received from treasure hunts.
