Upon hearing of their plight, Alena immediately offers herself up as the next sacrifice, but she has no intention of dying; as soon as the monster shows his face, [[Kiryl]] and [[Borya]] leap to her side and the trio kills him, freeing Taborov from his tyranny forever.
