The bloody hand is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series.
Introduced in Dragon Quest II, it's a hand composed of blood.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
Bloody hands appear as monstrous hands made of blood arising from the ground, with blood constantly dripping from their fingertips. Much like the muddy hands, Bloody hands can summon more of their kind into battle, and can call for more powerful monsters to enter the fray. In some games, they are considered part of the Material family. In others they are part of the Undead family, as they are either disembodied arms from dead monsters that have been reanimated or formed from the blood of the executed.
