Crafty Splasher is a monster trait that allows the possessor to ignore 10% of an enemy's resistance to the Water element

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince[edit | edit source]
Crafty Splasher voids 10% of the target's resistance to Water, regardless of whether the damage is caused by a spell, breath attack, elemental attack, or physical attack. It is no innately possessed by any monster but can be added to the list of traits by equipping the waterproof armband or waterproof belt, which are dropped by crabids and zaptiles respectively. The trait combines with the effects of Ultra Crafty Splasher to ignore 60% of the target's resistance.
The effects of this trait can be nullified if the target has the Splish Ward or Ultra Splish Ward traits.
