Riverton is a town found in Dragon Quest IV.
The aptly-named town sprang up on opposite banks of a river, with an island right in the middle. It is one of the few locations in the remake to keep the name used in the original localization.

Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen[edit | edit source]
Riverton needs to be traversed once to arrive at the statue dungeon known as the Colossus.
It is also the home of a mechanic in need of a gas canister to make a perfectly functional balloon. Upon receiving one from the Hero, who must retrieve it from Estark's Crypt, he manages to create the balloon and gives it to the Hero and his party.
