Squelch, originally known as Antidote, is a recurring spell in the Dragon Quest Series. When used, it removes poison and envenomed status from a party member.

Dragon Quest VIII
Squelch is learned by the Hero at level 4. By investing 3 points into the Charisma skill, Angelo can also learn this spell.

Dragon Warrior Monsters
Antidote is learned by monsters beginning at level 5 if the monster has at least 21 MP and 20 Intelligence. It is learned naturally by Dracky, FloraMan, Pixy, and Unicorn. [1]
