Squelch is a recurring spell in the Dragon Quest series . When used, it removes poison and envenomating toxins from a party member.

Squelch is learned by the Hero at level 4. By investing 3 points into the Charisma skill, Angelo can also learn this spell.

Antidote is learned by monsters beginning at level 5 if the monster has at least 21 MP and 20 Intelligence. It is learned naturally by Dracky , FloraMan , Pixy , and Unicorn . [1]
Antidote now requires 47 intelligence to learn. It is no longer naturally learned by the Unicorn .
