Belial is a boss from Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line.
He is a more powerful version of the archdemon and the last in a trio of bosses the Scions of Erdrick must face as they climb Hargon's tower.
Later games would use the monster as a species instead of a specific individual, similar to his fellow cultist Pazuzu.
Appearances
Belial's role in the HD-2D Remake of his debut is set to be more or less the same, but has a new scene in which he incinerates a babygoyle and a black manguini monster with a fire spell for failing an unknown task.
