Characteristics edit

The iron lance is a common spear made out of iron with a three-pronged head. Due to its ease of use, it is wielded by ordinary town and castle guards and can be used by a variety of different characters and vocations.

The Iron lance has an Attack bonus of +20 and can be equipped by the Hero and the Prince of Cannock. It can be bought for 720 gold coins at Moonahan and sold for 578 gold coins. In the NES version, the Iron lance is the strongest weapon that the Prince of Cannock can equip.

The Iron lance has an Attack bonus of +26 (+28 in the NES version) and can be equipped by the Hero, Warriors, Martial Artists, Priests, Merchants, Gadabouts, and Sages. However, when it is equipped by Martial Artists, their attack actually decreases by 14 (-13 in the GBC version). It can be purchased for 650 gold (750 gold in NES version) at at Romaria, Khoryv, Asham, and Lanson and sold for 528 gold.

The Iron lance has an Attack bonus of +28 and can equipped by the Hero, Ragnar, Kiryl, Torneko, and the last character. Hardie, Oojam and Hank Hoffman Jr. have an iron lance in their equipment. It can be purchased for 880 gold at Mintos, Endor, and the Bazaar and sold for 660 gold coins. Tessie Taloon will sell this at Torneko's shop for 1,320 gold coins.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past edit

The Iron lance has an Attack bonus of +23 and a Style bonus of +8, and can be equipped by the Hero, Kiefer, Ruff, Sir Mervyn, and Aishe. However, when Ruff equips it, his Attack decreases by 11. It can be purchased for 1,000 gold from Frobisher, Greenthumb Gardens in the past, Pilgrim's Rest in the past, and Alltrades Abbey in the past and sold for 500 gold. One can be found at the Bandits' Base and another at Wetlock in the past. It can be dropped by Mandrake mercenary, Skeleton squire, and Quayhorse.

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King edit

The Iron lance has an Attack bonus of +24 and can only be equipped by the Hero. It can be purchased for 750 gold at Port Prospect and Peregrin Quay and can be sold for 375 gold. The lance can be made and upgraded in the Alchemy Pot.

The Iron lance has an Attack bonus of +19, a Style bonus of +3, and increases the wielder's Weight by 16. It has an equipment level of 14 and can be equipped by Martial Artists, Priests, Paladins, Item Masters, and Guardians, as well as Imp and Bambooligan monster companions. The lance can be crafted by a weapon blacksmith.

Dragon Quest X Offline edit

The Iron lance has an Attack bonus of +19, a Charm bonus of +3, and can be equipped by the Hero as a Priest or Paladin, as well as Raguas. It can be purchased for 550 gold from various weapon shops or crafted with the Fun-Size Forge.
