The Iron Mask is a helmet equipment item in the Dragon Quest series.

Dragon Quest III

The Iron mask can be bought for 3,500 gold in Tedanki, Mur, and Lanson and sold for 2,625 gold. It has a defense bonus of +25 and Heroes and Soldiers can equip it.

Dragon Quest IV

The Iron mask has a defence bonus of +25. It can be bought in Zalenagrad, Aubout du Monde, Rosehill, Riverton, and The Azimuth for 3,500 gold and sold for 2,625 gold. The Hero and Ragnar can equip it.

Dragon Quest V

The Iron mask has a defence bonus of +25. They can be bought for 3,500 gold and sold for 2,625 gold. The Hero, Harry, the Hero's Son, Pippin, Attackbot, Bomb Crag, Brownie, Centaurus, Eigerhorn, Eliminator, Gigantes, Golem, Hellbattler, Hork, Lionex, Messala, Orc King, Puppet Man, Slime Knight, Soldier Bull, and Springer all can equip it.

Dragon Quest VI

Iron masks can be bought for 3,500 gold in Clearvale, Sorceria, Arkbolt, Swanstone, and Turnscote. They can be sold for 2,626 gold or 2,850 gold after it has been upgraded. Octavian pirates drop them 1/64 of the time. They have a defense bonus of +25 and a style bonus of +10 (+35 after it has been upgraded). The Hero, Carver, Amos, Terry, Lizzie, Goowain, and all other slime allies can equip them.

Dragon Quest VII

Iron masks can be bought for 3,500 gold and sold for 1,750 gold. They have a defense bonus of +22 and an Apr bonus of +10. The Hero, Kiefer, and Aira can equip it.

Dragon Quest VIII

The Iron mask has a defence bonus of +25. It can be worn by the Hero and Yangus. It can be bought for 3,500 gold in Argonia (only after the bazaar starts), Arcadia, Savella Cathedral, and Neos.

Dragon Quest IX

Iron masks can be bought for 2,100 gold in Bloomingdale and sold for 1,050 gold. They have a defense bonus of +14 and a 1 star rarity. Warriors, Gladiators, and Paladins can equip them. They are also common drops from Deadcurions and Alarmours, while Harmours drop them rarely. Its in game description is "A complete metal covering for the cranium."
