The Feathered cap has a Defence bonus of +8 and can be equipped by Alena, Maya, and Meena. One can be found in Chapter 2 by searching the dressers in Alena's bedroom at Castle Zamoksva. It can be purchased for 280 gold from Ballymoral, Bath, Porthtrunnel, Aubout du Monde, and Havre Léon and sold for 210 gold.

The Feathered cap has a Defence bonus of +9 and can be equipped by all characters. It is part of Red's initial equipment in the Nintendo 3DS version. It can be made in the Alchemy Pot, being one of the first items the player can make as soon as it is acquired in Peregrin Quay. The hat can be sold for 200 gold each for the first five sold, 140 gold each for the sixth through tenth, then only 60 gold each from the eleventh sold onward.

One can be found in the Maella Region in a treasure chest requiring the Thief's key to open and another in barrel at Argonia. It has a 164 chance of being dropped by Night foxes.
