Dragon Quest X [edit | edit source]

Spellbound bough is used extensively as a material in woodworking for crafting weapons. It can be picked up from sparkly spots or dropped by certain monsters.

Dragon Quest X Offline[edit | edit source]

Spellbound bough is used as a material in the Fun-Size Forge. Prior to the release of Version 2.0, it could only be received as a reward for completing certain monster hunting requests. In Version 2.0, it can be purchased from a material shop in the town of Narvia, picked up from sparkly spots, or dropped by certain monsters.

Spellbound bough can be picked up from sparkly spots in the First Forest, the lower levels of the Manglegrove, Mount Pang Lai, and the Gallopolis Whale Way Station or dropped by Jowlers, Magic marionettes, Fruity succubats, and Stump champs. It can be sold for 120 gold each.

Spellbound bough is used in the following recipes for the Fun-Size Forge:

Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below[edit | edit source]

Spellbound bough can be dropped by Minidemon, Man o' war, and Brownie or received from King Flaminio in exchange for 5 Mini medals on the Stonecloud. It can be used to create a Mirror ring or in the classic recipe for the Papillon pendant in the Alchemy Pot or sold for 350 gold each. Spellbound boughs are required to complete Quest #079: Maps to the Max 4, Quest #080: Maps to the Max 5, and Quest #082: Take a Bough.

Spellbound bough is used as a material to enhance various accessories or can be sold for 300 gold each. It can be picked up from sparkly spots in the No Man's Land, dropped by Cloud surfer and Gigantes, or received from Maxi Malone in exchange for 5 Mini medals at Accordia.
