Tingle is a spell in the Dragon Quest series.

It removes Paralysis from party members. In Dragon Quest VI through VIII it also removes the sleep status.

Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation[edit | edit source]

Tingle is learned by Priests & Sages at Level 15.

Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake[edit | edit source]

Tingle is learned by Priests and Sages at level 15 if their wisdom exceeds 47 points.

Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen[edit | edit source]

Tingle is learned by Meena Mahabala at level 10. It costs 2 MP to cast.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past[edit | edit source]

Any character can learn Tingle after reaching rank 6 of the Sailor vocation.

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King[edit | edit source]

Tingle is learned by Angelo at level 13. By investing 16 points into the Courage skill, Eight can also learn this spell.

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies[edit | edit source]

Tingle is learned by Priests at level 22 and Rangers at level 16. It costs 2 MP to cast. With the reintroduction of Cock-a-doodle-doo, Tingle has regressed to curing only Paralysis.

Dragon Quest Monsters[edit | edit source]

Called NumbOff in this game, it requires the monster to reach level 8 with 30 MP and 26 Intelligence. It is naturally learned by the CoilBird, DeadNite, MadPlant and Snaily, among others.
