Battle fork
The battle fork is a recurring spear in the Dragon Quest series. It is a large pitchfork converted into a weapon, typically used by the likes of monsters such as imps and archdemons.

The battle fork has an Attack bonus of +42 and can only be equipped by the Hero. It cannot be purchased anywhere, but one can be found in the treasure room at Argonia's Castle after the events at the Royal Hunting Ground in a chest requiring the magic key to open. It can also be dropped rarely by archdemons and belials. The spear can be sold for 3,300 gold. It can be upgraded further into a Demon spear with the Alchemy Pot.

Dragon Quest X edit
The battle fork has an Attack bonus of +32, a Style bonus of +4, increases the wielder's Weight by 17, and increases the chance of landing a critical hit by 1%. It has an equipment level of 21 and can be equipped by Priests, Martial Artists, Paladins, Item Masters, and imp monster companions, as well as Hussar in the Offline version of the game.
It can be crafted by a weapon blacksmith or with the Fun-Size Forge. Starting with Version 6.2 of the Online version, the spear became easier to craft.

The recipe book Cutting-Edge Kit contains the recipe for the battle fork. It is received as a reward for completing Quest #9 at the checkpoint between the Gallopolis Region and the Laguna di Gondolia.

The battle fork has an Attack bonus of +43, a Blocking bonus of +8, and can only be equipped by Kiryl. It can be purchased for 4,200 gold on the Stonecloud after the events at Colissea and sold for 2,100 gold.

The battle fork is Treasure No. 135 in the Weapons category and can be found on Cinderback Ridge. Its base value is 390,000 gold. The design featured in the game is the original design from Dragon Quest VIII.
Dragon Quest Walk edit
The Battle fork is a 4★ spear with an Attack bonus of +29 at level 1. It allows the wielder to use Cattle Prod. It gains the ability to inflict additional damage to Dragons, as well as dazzle enemies when its weapon level increases.
