Deep Breath is a skill introduced in the original Dragon Quest Monsters.

It increases damage from the user's breath attacks during the next turn by 2 to 2.5 times.

Deep Breath is an enemy-only skill that is used by Jarvis and bobongas that doubles the damage caused by their next breath skill.

Dragon Quest Monsters[edit | edit source]

Known as SuckAir in this game, it can be learned by DrakSlime, Gismo, Mirudraas2, and SkyDragon naturally as long as they are level 17 and have 119 max HP and 102 DEF.

Deep Breath increases damage inflicted by the next breath attack used, costing no MP to use. It can be learned from various skill sets:

Deep breath costs zero MP and increases the power of the next breath attack by 200~250%. It is learned through the Bad Breather, Blowhard, Breath Worker, Deep Breather, Dragonheart, Dragonlord, Fire Chief, Frosty Receptionist, Respirator, Shallow Breather, Smart Blazer, and Xenlon talents.

Deep Breath is known naturally by Gasbagon and Stale whale at level 1, costing 16 MP to use. It boosts the potency and recovery of Breath skills by 50% for one turn.
