Cobra Strike is a recurring Knife skill in the Dragon Quest series that attempts to inflict an enemy with Envenomation.

Dragon Quest X [edit | edit source]
Cobra Strike can be learned by Thieves, Minstrels, and Dancers by allocating 58 skill points into the Knives skill. It costs 1 MP to use, deals an extra 10% damage, and has a 50% chance to inflict Envenomation.
Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age[edit | edit source]
Cobra Strike can be learned by Erik and Sylvando through the Knives skill tree in their character builders by unlocking its respective panel for 7 and 13 skill points respectively. It costs 3 MP to use, dealing 120% damage to a single enemy with a 50% chance of evenomation. The rate of inflicting envenomation can be increased with the Nastier Knives skill panel. On the 3DS and 2D versions, it can be used by the enemy Malicious Golden Boy.
Dragon Quest Walk[edit | edit source]
Cobra Strike can be learned by Rangers at Level 10, as well as from various weapons. It costs 5 MP to use, deals 130% slashing damage to a single enemy, and has a chance to inflict poison.
