Whopper Chop is an ability in the Dragon Quest series. It is somewhat like a Critical Hit in that it ignores defence, but is ineffective against Metal Slimes.

Dragon Quest IX[edit | edit source]
Lunges at enemy with a catastrophic axe swing that deals between 180~220 base damage. This technique is Strength dependent, and will reach a maximum range of 460~500 when the user's strength reaches 600. It costs 16 MP, and requires the Advanced Axecraft scroll in the character's inventory to use.
Dragon Quest Heroes II[edit | edit source]
Desdemona uses this skill as her Coup de Grâce.
