Cursed Mist is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series.
The user sends out a murky vapor that can Curse a group of enemies.

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King[edit | edit source]
Cursed Mist is an enemy-only skill used by Geyzer and Shade that can prevent characters from acting for one turn. The Hero will always be immune to the effects of this ability, hinting at his mysterious origins.
- In the Nintendo 3DS version, Geyzer in Memoriam will use Cursed Mist against the party as well, sometimes being able to do so twice in a single turn.
Dragon Quest X [edit | edit source]
Cursed Mist is an enemy-only skill that can be used by Demon clouds, Gnuriels, Visor kaisers, and other monsters. In this game, it is a breath skill and can place a curse on any characters in an area in front of the user.
Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age[edit | edit source]
Cursed Mist can be used by Visor kaisers once again, as well as Hyperanemons.
Dragon Quest Tact[edit | edit source]
Cursed Mist can be learned by Geyzer and Graveheart at level 22 and Demon cloud at level 24, costing 15 MP to use. It has a chance to Curse all enemies in a T-shaped area of effect in front of the user.
