Appearances[edit | edit source]

Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake[edit | edit source]

Roundhouse Kick was retroactively added to the 2024 remake, where it's learned by Martial Artists at level 34 if their wisdom exceeds 97 points. It costs 7 MP and from left-to-right deals 100, 80, 70, 50, 30, and 20% Strike-element damage to all enemies.

Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen[edit | edit source]

Roundhouse Kick appears as an enemy-only skill used by Chow Mein in remake versions of the game.

Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation[edit | edit source]

Roundhouse Kick is obtained by advancing to rank 2 of the Martial Artist vocation. On the enemy side, it can be used by jackal rippers, Commander Brutus, Zozagel, and Mortamor in his second form.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past[edit | edit source]

The skill is learned by advancing to rank 4 as a Martial Artist. On the enemy side, it can be used by Wyatt.

Dragon Quest Monsters 2: Iru and Luca's Marvelous Mysterious Key[edit | edit source]

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3[edit | edit source]

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince[edit | edit source]

Roundhouse Kick costs 8 MP and ignores the defence of all enemies, with monsters from left-to-right taking 20%, 15%, 10%, and 5% damage compared to a normal attack. It is learned through the Barbarus, Fighter, Martial Maven, Nelgel the Netherfiend, Razerburn, and Warmonger talents.

Dragon Quest of the Stars[edit | edit source]

Dragon Quest Rivals[edit | edit source]

Roundhouse Kick appeared in the standard card pack as a normal card for Martial Artist leaders. It cost 3 MP to use and would deal 4 damage to all enemy units in the front row.

Roundhouse Kick costs 8 MP to use and inflicts 110% physical damage to all enemies. It can be learned by Martial Artists and Champions at level 25 and can also be learned from various weapons.
